DO YOU LOVE MOVEMENT? DO YOU LIKE MUSIC? Tone Eurythmy workshop With Hajo Dekker |
SUNDAY 20th MAY 2 - 5pm £20/ £15 concs. |
Eurythmy is an art of movement that arose out of the work of Rudolf Steiner.
Poetry, music, colour: through eurythmy all soul experiences can be expressed in movement. The intrinsic gestures of musical tones, intervals and each sound and soul quality of speech, initially given by Steiner, have since been developed by others. Pieces of music as well as poetry can be performed by a solo artist or in groups. With its tendency towards beauty and harmony, eurythmy provides food for the soul, which is so often lacking in our everyday lives. It puts us back in touch with the creative sources of life, counteracting the hardening influence of everyday living. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary - bring soft shoes and comfortable clothes. Hajo Dekker is course director at the London College of Eurythmy and brings a wealth of experience with him. Prior to his 19 years of teaching at the College as well as the Peredur Centre for the Arts, he taught and performed extensively throughout the world with the Stuttgart Eurythmeum Ensemble. To book and for more information please contact the London College of Eurythmy on 020 7724 1410. |
